1st Grade
Hello! My name is Merideth Sparks, and I’m so excited to be the first-grade teacher this year! I served four years in the United States Navy before following my dream of becoming a teacher. I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Elementary Education, then earned a Master’s degree in Science from New Mexico Tech and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Western Governors University. This is my nineteenth year of teaching, and I still feel the same joy and excitement on the first day of school as I did on my very first day of teaching. My husband and I moved to Marvel in July 2023, and we are loving our new community.
