Mrs. Clements - Values as a teacher

"I continue to teach because I believe that education empowers and equips students to learn about and understand the world we live in.  It is a joy to watch students make connections, work hard, and become problem solvers and solution oriented.  After more than twenty-five years of teaching, it is still fun to learn and inspire others to do the same.  I count it an honor to help kids soar when the learning experience is exciting and feels effortless and when I need to help kids figure out how to get up and try again when the learning feels like an impossible mountain to climb.  We find the stepping stones for success together and work on finding the tools and support for all that faces us.  I am grateful to work in a supportive community."
